Since 2008, Synergy Hot Yoga has been welcoming students to our vibrant and serene studio.

Hot Yoga is a dynamic, energizing practice that sculpts, hones and tones every muscle in the body, and restores health and balance to mind, body and spirit. You don’t need to be especially flexible or incredibly fit to do this yoga.  You just need to do it.  The results speak for themselves.

Open seven days a week, there are sure to be classes to fit your busy schedule.  We offer both Bikram and Hot Power Vinyasa classes as well as warm flow and ashtanga classes.  Our knowledgable caring teachers will guide you safely and enthusiastically through class whether you are doing this yoga for the first time or the thousandth.

At Synergy, we offer two types of Hot Yoga. The original 26 posture Bikram sequence (Hot 26) is a challenging series of 26 poses and 2 breathing exercise practiced in a heated room, slightly warmer than your body temperature. The heat allows your body to stretch more deeply and safely, increases circulation to facilitate the body’s natural ability to heal, and detoxifies the body. (see FAQ’s) The series is designed so that each posture stretches and strengthens specific muscles, ligaments and joints needed for the next posture. It systematically stimulates the organs, glands and nervous system and moves freshly oxygenated blood to 100% of the body.

Secondly, we offer flowing Power Vinyasa classes in a variety of styles (Baptiste, Dharma, Ashtanga, Kala Pravinya) with creative flow sequencing. These are vigorous, flowing classes that heal, detoxify, and electrify the body and mind at their deepest levels. We also offer a “Warm” class which is a milder,and not quite as hot, one hour Vinyasa Flow class. Both these styles of yoga build stamina, flexibility, strength and balance and work the entire body, from the inside out, bones to skin. Some of our students prefer one style over the other, but many like to mix it up and practice both for variety and different benefits. In both cases you will test and grow skills of concentration, patience, determination and self control to increase physical strength and mental clarity and reduce stress.

Hot Yoga is preventative healthcare. Being “in shape” doesn’t mean having toned muscles and being able to run a few miles. Being “in shape” means that every system, gland, organ, joint, tendon, muscle, ligament and cell of the body is exercised. In one hot yoga class, you will sweat, smile, focus, de-stress, detox, and do more for your health, spirit and self image than any other form of exercise could ever do for you.
