Introduction to Roots: A Beginner Series
If you are looking to plant your seeds into yoga for the first time or to deepen your roots practice then this series is for you! Intro to roots is designed for those who have never done yoga before or for those who want a deeper understanding of yoga as a whole. We go over basic postures (called “asanas” in Sanskrit- the yoga language) and moving in and out of them, discover ancient yoga philosophy, learn how to modify for your own practice with props, unlock the importance of our yoga breath (known as pranayama), and more! We delve deep into the topic of yoga and what it really is. This small class allows time and space for personal assists lots of questions, and even some laughs.
