Friday Night Unwind
Bloom into Spring and get energized with this month’s Friday Night Unwind! Spring is known as Kapha season in Ayurveda (the sister science of Yoga). When imbalanced, Kapha embodies excessive qualities of heaviness, dampness and sluggishness which can cause us to feel lazy and mentally and physically lethargic. However, with more hours of light we want to feel inspired, empowered, energized and light! This practice will start with specific Pranayama (breathing practices) and some basic gentle movement to warm you up and help re-engergize your body, mind and spirit. Most of your time will be enjoyed in comfy Restorative poses accompanied by gentle aromatherapy to help bring you to a balanced state of peaceful energy.
Let yourself melt into a state of complete bliss atop soft blankets, cushions and pillows as you float away during your guided final relaxation meditation.
