Beginning Mindfulness-Part II
This is the second workshop in the series, “Beginning Mindfulness”, that all are welcome to. The workshop will be a continuation of the concepts discussed in the first and is meant to help further your meditation practice, deepening your understanding of mindfulness & Zen Buddhism. The program will be approximately one and half hours long with the first portion being a brief recap of the prior workshop including instruction in Zazen & Kinhin (Zen Buddhist Meditations.)
The second portion will consist of two twenty minute periods of Zazen (seated meditation), with a ten minute period of Kinhin (walking meditation) in-between, and will conclude with dharma talk covering further concepts in Buddhism. Although the workshop is structured as a continuation of the first, all are welcome to attend from those that have been prior or those that just wish to deepen their practice.
